Project Goal:

Promote civic participation and education by organizing local events, engaging students and residents in discussions on public issues, and supporting the expansion of the Global Deeds Civic Action Program across communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize Civic Action Dinners and community workshops
  • Distribute civic and financial literacy materials
  • Represent Global Deeds at schools, forums, and public events
  • Assist in planning the Civic Action Summit at the Massachusetts State House

Ideal Student Background:

  • Majoring in Political Science, Education, Public Policy, or related fields
  • Strong communication and leadership potential
  • Passionate about civic engagement and public service
  • Access to transportation in Massachusetts is preferred


Deliverables

Deliverables:

  • 2–3 public engagement events organized
  • Community outreach summary report
  • Participation in the planning and execution of the Civic Summit
