Details

BS Transport is seeking to improve the user experience and functionality of its website dashboard. The current dashboard has several usability issues that hinder efficient navigation and data access for both customers and internal users. The goal of this project is to identify and fix these issues, ensuring a seamless and intuitive interface. This project will provide learners with the opportunity to apply their web development and user interface design skills in a real-world context. Key tasks include conducting a usability analysis, implementing design improvements, and testing the updated dashboard for functionality and user satisfaction. The project is designed to be completed by a team of learners from a web development or computer science program, utilizing their skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and user experience design.

Deliverables

The deliverables for this project include:

  • Detailed report of the usability analysis
  • Redesigned and fully functional dashboard, and a testing report documenting user feedback
  • The team will also provide a presentation summarizing the project process and outcomes.

These deliverables will demonstrate the learners' ability to apply classroom knowledge to solve practical web development challenges.
