We would like to collaborate with students to help promote our logistics and transportation services through social media content creation, review, and publishing. This hands-on project involves several key steps:

  • Understanding our logistics business and target market, including local clients, commercial hauling needs, and industry pain points. Students will learn how trucking and delivery services are marketed in competitive environments.
  • Reviewing and refining marketing content such as short-form social media posts, service promotion emails, digital brochures, and YouTube scripts that explain our services, showcase our fleet, and highlight our reliability.
  • Publishing content across major platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube, following a scheduled content calendar. The goal is to grow our digital presence, drive traffic to our website, and engage potential clients with informative and relatable content.
  • Managing and monitoring our social media accounts, ensuring they remain active, branded, and responsive. Students will help keep our channels fresh with consistent posting, community interaction, and up-to-date service promotions.
  • By working directly with a logistics company, students will gain experience in applying social media strategy to a real-world industry, where marketing must balance professionalism, customer trust, and visual appeal.

By the end of this project, students will have contributed to a comprehensive digital marketing initiative focused on promoting our logistics and transportation services. Key outcomes include:

  • A consistent and professional presence on key social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube
  • Increased brand awareness and website traffic through strategically scheduled and optimized content
  • A curated library of marketing assets tailored to the logistics industry (e.g., service highlights, fleet showcases, behind-the-scenes videos)
  • Enhanced audience engagement across platforms through posts that are informative, visually appealing, and aligned with our brand voice

Students will be expected to submit the following:


Marketing Content Package

  • Social media posts (graphics, captions, hashtags)
  • Email templates or newsletters
  • Brochure drafts or one-pagers
  • Short-form video scripts or edited clips for TikTok, Instagram Reels, or YouTube Shorts

Social Media Calendar

  • A posting schedule outlining what content was posted, when, and on which platform
  • Suggestions for future campaigns or content themes based on audience trends

Marketing Strategy Summary

  • A written overview of the approaches taken during the project
  • Any targeting, engagement, or branding strategies used

Reflection Note (Required for validation)

  • A brief reflection (approx. 1 page) describing what was learned during the project, the student’s role, and how the work was completed
